Keeping customer communication at the forefront of receiving and delivery, the IRIDIUM tool facilitates a delivery schedule that is available on mobile devices and interfaced with powerful navigational software—the devices utilizes GPS-based technology that allows for route assistance and tracking as well as captures electronic signatures and scans barcodes as proof of delivery.

When communicating delivery details to the fulfillment department and the driver, user-defined delivery status can be configured to include new orders, tentative delivery dates, or that you are awaiting customer feedback. Notes can be entered on delivery tickets during the planning stages, and next-day schedules can be printed for each delivery vehicle. The tool also allows for orders with items at an “already sold” status that need to be delivered.

In addition to generating pre-delivery notification emails, the IRIDIUM tool can be configured to send follow-up customer surveys.
